Over-reaction

It's typical of the United Nations to overact like this. After all, it's not like we can't trust the US armed forces to respect individual human rights. It's not like they have a history of insitutional torture - it's not as if they have been teaching the fine art of 'persuasion' to the most brutal Latin American dictators for decades.

It's okay... we can trust that the US forces are upholding their moral obligations to their fellow man (and woman).

Right?
